Microblading is a method used to correct the problem of thin eyebrows. More of a semi-permanent solution, microblading uses a special hand tool to create the appearance of eyebrow hairs that combine to give the illusion of a much fuller brow.

When requesting Microblading, our Practioner will discuss with you what you are hoping to acheive. Do you want just to enhance your current brow, or fill it in as much as possible? Then the perfect pigment color is selected to match your existing brow hair. If your brow hairs are very light blonde, and you would like them to be just a touch darker, our Practioner will custom blend the perfect formula for you. No matter what color is required, all pigments can be custom blended for the perfect color to give you the most natural looking effect.

The shape is then carefully drawn based on scientific measurements of each individual clients bone structure, and facial features. Once the shape is complete, you will approve shape before Microblading begins.

Next… topical numbing is applied. Then the actual microblading technique begins. The process consist of depositing small amounts of pigment where small strokes mimicking eyebrow hairs are applied one by one using a special handheld tool. This tool doesn’t deeply penetrate the skin; rather, it creates small scratches that transfer the semi-permanent pigment into the skin. A secondary numbing is used throughout the procedure. There is absolutely no discomfort, and total relaxation is experinenced by all of MicroBrows Permanent Cosmetic clients. The actual procedure itself generally takes approximately one hour.

As in all cosmetic tattoo procdures, a follow up (Perfecting Appointment is required)

MicroShading (Microblading+Shading)

This technique is very popular for those with very sparse brows. Microblading with a special hand held tool is the first application, immediately followed with shading in strategic areas between the actual strokes to give the brows a more dense look. Shading is deposited with either a hand held shading tool, or a digital machine. This technique is very customized to each clients needs, and as other techniques, very natural looking.

Soft Powder Brows/Ombre Powdered Brows

Powder Brows/Ombré Powdered Brows help clients achieve more of a powdered, or ombre’ look instead of individual hairstrokes. The method creates pixelated dots to mimic powder filled brows with no harsh front or outline. This, as is, all techniques offered by MicroBrows Permanent Cosments, is minimally invasive. All work is done on the outermost epidermal layer, contributing to more semi permanent brows. As healing takes place, there will be an exfoliating process, followed by the replacement of new epidermal cells.

Powdered Brows have a soft makeup look once healed, and work great for clients with oily or mature skin. Many clients opt for this technique even if they do not have oily skin. Powder Brows provide a soft filled in look, which works perfecly for their skin type and personal preference. This technique can be adjusted to soft, or more intense: Ombré Powder, depending on your desired look.

The ideal candidate or Powdered Brows are those who have hair, but fill in with makeup. If having thinner brows, strokes can be added. This would be a Combination Technique.

Combination Brows

Combination Brows is a combination of two methods of semi-permanent techniques: Microblading and Powder Brows (shading). Microblading hair-strokes are placed with a manual tool around the border of the brow to give the brow a natural look. The powder effect is applied to the body of the brow using a very delicate digital machine to give the brow its fullness.

Combination Brows are great for clients with normal to moderately oily skin, as well as clients that would like a more filled in look. If your skin is too oily for microblading alone, Combination Brows might be the perfect alternative. For someone with very sparse brows, the shading can give the brow more body, while the hair-strokes keep it looking natural.

Color Correction

Due to the varius results of Permanent Makeup done elsewhere, a consultation is required to properly evaluate your needs. Often times clear emailed photos to practitioner can be sufficient. All color correction techniques require at least three appointments. If we recommend pigment/ink removal, we will not be able to do any correction, as this would mean pigment/ink is too saturated/incorrectly placed. 600.00 +

Lashline Enhancement or Permanent Eye Liner

is the perfect way to have professionally applied eye liner, 24 hours a day.
Lash Line Enhancement subtly adds definition and colour to your lash line creating the appearance of thicker lashes. Permanent eyeliner can vary from a medium line along the lash line to enhance and widen your eye and give a more awake appearance, to a bolder thicker line to make your eyes really pop!

Lash line enhancement offers a subtle emphasis of your lash line by carefully implanting small amouts of pigment between your lashes. If you prefer a bolder look, you can choose between a medium thickness or thick liner which is applied by a steady line along your lash line. Both lash line enhancement and permanent eyeliner can be applied to both your upper and lower eyelids.

Lip Blushing

Lip Blushing is a semi-permanent form of cosmetic tattooing, which gives the lips added colour and a fuller appearance. Past treatments of lip tattooing used carbon-based tattoo ink, resulting in harsh lines that aged to bluish tones (not attractive)…today’s lip blushing is based on an entirely different approach.

Lip Blushing or Lip Tint Tattooing, is a more topical and natural approach to the traditional lip tattooing of the past. Natural shades of pigments are used to enhance lips, gradully fading over 2-3 years. This technique is applied with a very delicated digital machine, which in turn results in a minimally invasive application.

Prior to the procedure, a topical anaesthetic is applied to ensure client comfort, after which the practitioner will define the shape of your lips…then discuss and make any changes if needed. In order to achieve the optimum blush effect, two appointments are typically necessary.

Do you do touch ups from other artists?

Considerations include, placement of brows, scar tissue, number of times previous work has been done, and saturation of pigment. A consultation is always required for clients with previous permanent makeup done elsewhere.

Often corrections can be done, however, this demands more work and additional appointments.

However, if brows are too saturated with pigment/ink, removal would be recommended. (PRICES CAN VARY)
